Join veterinarians in Germany’s largest congress for practitioners. The EuroTier – First in animal farming will be held in parallel in Hannover from November 15 – 18. You will have free access to this important trade fair with your bpt-congress ticket. Find out about the latest developments in animal farming and get input for your practice. Make the most of your time by booking one of our two hour guided tours to the EuroTier with focus on pigs, dairy cows or chickens. Experts will show you relevant developments and you don’t have to search for exhibitors.
You will also profit from the bpt-congress trade fair exclusively for vets with more than 130 exhibitors. Find the list of exhibitors here and keep your eyes open for special offers when you visit. It’s also free with your congress-ticket.
The presentations at the congress are mostly held in German and focus on all fields of interest for veterinarians in practice ranging from small animal medicine to farm animals. Of course, there will be many chances to talk with colleagues after the presentations and in special formats like round tables and meet the experts, where specialists directly answer your questions. All presentations from the main program are also available online with a three-day ticket and will be accessible until December 11.
Members of the KNMvD will receive bpt-membership rates on congress fares, which equals a discount of about 30%. Enter the code KNMVD@22bpt-Hannover when you register here. Booking will be open until November 19, 2022.
Of special interest for all veterinarians is the opening event for farm animals on Friday morning with its well known keynote speaker Henk Jan Ormel (FAO) who will speak on „Securing the global food supply – current situation, problems, perspectives“, including an outlook on how veterinarians can impact the future. Also Norbert Lins, chairman of the influential AGRI Committee in EU Parliament, will present a keynote posing the question if the EU-farm-to-fork strategy must be adapted to secure food supply.
We are looking forward to meeting you in Hannover.
