Building on the success of its first EKIN event in Thessaloniki, TransformDairyNet will host its second European Knowledge and Innovation Network (EKIN) meeting on 20 May 2026 in Bucharest, Romania, with an online streaming option for remote participants.

🔔 In-person registration closes: 14 April 2026

This event will bring together project partners and stakeholders from across Europe to share lessons learned, exchange innovative practices, and deepen engagement around Cow-Calf Contact (CCC) systems and sustainable dairy solutions. The meeting will also showcase the activities of TransformDairyNet to date and facilitate the cross-pollination of ideas in CCC innovation-from grassroots initiatives to policy-level discussions.

Set within the dynamic context of TDN’s growing Living Labs and National Innovation Practice Hubs, the Bucharest meeting will spotlight real-world challenges and solutions, practical tools, and co-developed strategies supporting ethical and economically viable dairy farming.

Thursday 21st May – Optional Study Farm Visit in the Romanian countryside
Early start and late finish* to make the most of Romanian farming practices

Bus transport will be provided from central Bucharest.

* Please note: if you are joining the farm visit, we advise against planning onward travel on that day. We also recommend ensuring you have the possibility of late access at your accommodation.
