Caring Vets goes international!

Op het Caring Vets Congres 2026 staat wederom het welzijn van dieren en de rol van de dierenarts centraal. Met prikkelende presentaties van Professor Andrew Knight, Dr. Steven McCulloch en last but zeker not least Dr. Martine van Zijll Langhout, een paneldiscussie en volop mogelijkheden om met collega’s in gesprek te gaan, is dit congres een must voor alle (toekomstige) dierenartsen die verder willen kijken dan de spreekkamer en de stal. * De voertaal van dit congres is Engels.

Dr Martine van Zijll Langhout is Head of the Veterinary Department at ARTIS, a certified coach (NOBCO), and she guides wilderness trails in Botswana. She initially worked for six years as a companion animal veterinarian, including at the Medisch Centrum voor Dieren in Amsterdam, followed by 1.5 years in mixed practice in the UK.

Andrew Knight is a veterinary Professor of Animal Welfare affiliated with Murdoch University School of Veterinary Medicine and Griffith University, both in Australia, and with the University of Winchester in the UK. An experienced small animal veterinarian, Andrew is also a UK, European, American and New Zealand Veterinary Specialist in animal welfare.

Dr Steven McCulloch is a veterinary surgeon and Research Fellow in Veterinary Policy at the London School of Economics (LSE), based within the Jeremy Coller Centre for Animal Sentience and the Global School of Sustainability. Steven is a European Veterinary Specialist in Animal Welfare Science, Ethics and Law and a Fellow of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons.
