Veterinary students and recent graduates can face significant wellbeing challenges as they transition from university into professional life. Inexperience, professional and social isolation, and the pressures of starting a veterinary career can add to these challenges, making access to the right support and resources particularly important.

Join Dr Michael Wayne Paton for a webinar exploring the role of wellness programs in veterinary curricula and how they can help prepare students for the realities of professional life. The session will also look at mentoring and other resources available to support veterinary graduates, and the important role veterinary associations can play in promoting wellbeing across the profession.

Objectives:
  1. To highlight the range and benefits of wellness programs in veterinary curricula.
  2. To discuss mentoring and other resources that can provide support for veterinary graduates.
